My mum and I don’t have much of a gap in personalities, but after all she claims to be only 27. Since she’s my mother, I’ll have to believe her. Over the next few weeks she and I will be off on a glorious adventure of epic proportions. She has already started her journey ‘across the pond’ and will be joining me for our month long gap trip together.

Throughout the trip we will be visiting ancient wonders, modern marvels, natural beauties, and few funky fun places for good measure. And yarn shops. 

In the first 30 hours, mum has already covered the major modes of transportation. Car, plane, train, bus, boat, bike and walking. She says she hasn’t swam yet, but there’s a river and ample opportunity to push her in.
